ps I love how like we all just randomly start editing this again thanks to Riri randomly popping over and deciding to edit xD
wait, favourite family or just family in general, and all family or pick a family member?
Axel: He grins, "I don't think anyone's ever called me pretty before, though my guess is the reason she likes me best right now is because from what I can tell, I'm the only demigod in this lot, these other sods are just a bunch of mortals in the wrong place at the right time." He shrugs, these girls were in some ways a sight for sore eyes, they actually didn't seem like they were on Circe's side, but then again this could also be some sort of elaborate trap too, test him, or maybe even try to get him in trouble, either way he wasn't going to show his hand just yet, time for a bit of poker, "A way off the island? Not sure if you noticed, but we're in the Bermuda Triangle, surrounded by storms and sea monsters, on an island with even more monsters, and a psycho bitch and her servants, slaves and play things. Even if you get past them, it's a long swim to land." He decided he'd talk a bit, get a feel for the girls, before just fessing up that he'd meant to be here and actually did have a boat stashed at a spot where the storms and Circe's defences as far as the coastal waters around the island were concerned, were at the weakest. He needed to try and keep Circe's interests until he either, well until she either killed him, or he managed to find Nemesis' sword. Actually he'd never been really sure why he wanted it to begin with, yea sure he was an occasional theif for hire, but it was more a hobby than a livelyhood, but something about this sword, he couldn't shake it, his whole life all he couldt think about was her sword supposedly under heavy protection, its whereabouts secret. After years he'd finally narrowed down its last known location to be this island, so tossing sanity to the wind, he set out here.
Anwen: She listens intently, watching his eyes particulary, trying to note any signs of deceit or hesitancy, she wasn't exactly a child of Themis or Apate, but she was usually pretty good judging character, at least in the last 5 years since washing up on the island, she'd found it was something she was good at. "Yea we understand getting physically off the island will be dangerous, but we were more interested in what comes after, like any boats nearby, any part of the coast that isn't as frought with storms, thick fog, and sea monsters, that sort of thing." She almost started to talk about how both girls hadn't actually gotten to this island by normal means. Ana had been brought here to guard the sword, so she obviously had safe passage by default, and well Anwen had just washed up on shore with no memory, so neither had every actually seen further than their eyes could see from the beach, and since the whole spat between Nemesis and Circe, Circe had bolstered defences even more the last few weeks, causing thick fog banks to limit their view even more, and upped the sea monsters.
The monkey starts to chatter and seem even more excited as Anwen takes the vial, Anwen couldn't help but giggle a bit, but she tried to do so as silently as possible, she glanced around the cage, the other animals were peaking interest as well, she looked at the monkey, then at the animals, what if they started to make a commotion and drew others to them, so very quietly she addressed all the animals, though part of her felt rather silly talking to a mess of abused animals, "Look guys you have to be quiet, because we can't help anyone if we get caught right now, but we aren't going to hurt you." She sighs and hopes that will do the trick, then turns to Georgie the spider monkey, "You behave, I'm going to turn you back so we can talk, we need info, but you have to be quiet." She monkey nodded and climbed down off Anwen's shoulders, she still couldn't believe she was talking to animals, and that the animals were really people, sure it had been a few years like this, seeing animals that were people, but she never got used to it. Once the monkey was down, she took the vial and carefully slid a drop out into the monkey's mouth, and within half a minute suddenly a disheveled and slightly bruised young man was sitting on the ground before them, and despite everything he'd been through, he suddenly broke into a grin, his blue eyes almost glinted, it was clear that Circe had yet to break his spirits, and possibly also clear why he was in so much better condition physically than the others, something about him must have charmed Circe enough to want to prolong him as a play toy.
She nods and visibly sighs with relief seeing Ana back safely, now as long as they could pull off changing a sailor back and forth without anyone catching them or at least without a good story to what and why they are doing it, they might be home free. She points out each animal/person in the cage and then laughs as the spider monkey climbs back up on her shoulder, in the last hour she'd taken to calling the spider monkey George.

Even if they'd been wiling to risk taking enough charmed water to turn them all and question them, it would have been more of a chance that someone might have noticed the missing water. Plus, the time it would take to turn and queston each captive, while still having to turn them back so they aren't caught, was just too much of a risk. In all the 9 captives as animals included:
"....(continued from having pointed out each animal to Ana) This guy, he's been following me around like crazy, I call him Georgie."
Anwen nods and walks near Ana for a bit, making it look like it did on many days, that she had gone to wake Ana for breakfast, and that that's where they were headed. However, when they came to the path where they could go left to the outer buildings, meal area, etc where a lot of the servants and such hung out when not working for Circe, go straight to get to the area closer to the beach where prisoners were kept, or right to go towards the main spa buildings where Ana would be able to find the store room containing what they needed, as long as Ana could get the small does out without being seen, no one should ever notice just one dose of the special water was even missing. Anwen would head straight here, parting from Ana, and start doing the chores to clean out around the captives from the night before. She mumbles a nervous see ya later to her sister and walks straight and tries to walk casually. Upon arrival at the array of cages, equpiment, an area filled with random junk and piles of old cages and torture devices that she didn't really care to think about, she quickly took count in the cage holding the latest set of captives from the shipwreck. She counted 9 in the assortment of animals that were there. It seemed that Circe had been feeling nice last night and turned them all in to animals that at least got along and weren't on opposite sides of the food chain. She proceded to go to the hut that contained various cleaing equipment and smaller cages to put the "animals" in while things were being cleaned and got to work. She tried to focus on what she was doing to look normal and at ease, but her mind constantly drifted back to what Ana was doing at that moment, hoping nothing would go wrong.

She sighs and as she waits for her sister, she starts cleaning, sometimes whispering to the animals when she felt it was safe and no one was listening, see if one understood her and well she wasn't sure what would happen, but she figured it couldn't hurt and maybe one would stand out more to pick from for the water. While doing this, the spider monkey kept following her around wherever she went, and a few times kept trying to crawl up on to her shoulders.

Anwen sighed as they made their way back to where the others were, "I found a book from a whip wreck yesterday, I think I may go read it, try to ignore the storm. Hey we should try to get a plan to get closer to the prisoners, they've been outside the island more recently than anyone, maybe they could tell us what we'd be facing once away from the island." She smiles weakly trying to be brave.
