Please Name Characters Responsibly
To be honest, I see this a lot when browsing different roleplay sites and it's become a VERY big pet peeve of mine; naming characters names which are considered extremely rare, if not completely unheard of, in their time-period/location/universe w/e.
For example naming a child from Ancient China, Apple or something would be preposterous and possibly demeaning in that society whereas naming a child Apple in modern America, while not the most popular baby name isn't completely unheard of, especially if the character is a child of a famous person as they tend to choose crazy and wacky names for their children.
Another thing that is also strange when it comes to naming is overly fantastical names or names that have OTT spelling, while in a fanta…
Personal Plea for Crossover
Hey guys, Windy here. I'm sure tons of us are super busy with school or work (or both). I myself have two big midterms coming up next week which have me freaked out. Nevertheless, I think we all owe it to Bach to just put aside five to ten minutes and just write out our paragraphs for phase 3. I personally would be really bummed if Bach were to put in all that work and just have to take it down on the 16th because not enough people posted. Tomorrow is the original deadline, and I think it would be super awesome if we could surprise Bach by having a majority of the entries in by then (Even though this is a public blog and therefore wouldn't really be a surprise >.
